UPSSSC Cane Supervisor Recruitment 2026: 1182 Posts, Apply Online

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for the Cane Supervisor Main Examination 2026. This recruitment is held under Advertisement No. 13-Pariksha/2026 and offers a total of 1182 posts under the Cane Establishment and Sugar Establishment of the Uttar Pradesh Government. Out of these, 1000 posts are under general selection and 182 posts are under special selection.

UPSSSC Cane Supervisor Vacancy Details

UPSSSC has announced a total of 1182 vacant posts of Cane Supervisor under the Cane Establishment and Sugar Establishment. Out of these, 1000 posts are filled through the general or regular selection round, and 182 posts are filled through a special selection round. Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Prerequisite

Only those candidates who appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) and have been issued a PET-2025 scorecard by the Commission can apply for this main examination. Candidates who did not appear in PET-2025 are not eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

Note: A general B.Sc in Biology or Chemistry, or degrees like B.Sc Horticulture or B.Sc Forestry, are not accepted for this post. The degree must specifically be in Agriculture Science.

Age Limit

The minimum age for all candidates is 21 years, and the age is counted as on 1 July 2026. Age relaxation for state government employees, ex-servicemen, dependents of freedom fighters, women and other notified categories is given as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

Note: A candidate claiming more than one reserved category benefit will get only one relaxation, whichever is more favourable.

UPSSSC Cane Supervisor Exam Application Fee 2026

Note: Candidates belonging to Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, PwBD and Outstanding Sportsperson categories pay the fee as per their original category, which is Rs. 25 for everyone. The fee can be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or through an SBI e-challan.

Exam Pattern

The main examination has a single paper of 100 questions and 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. The questions are objective and multiple choice type. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is negative marking of 25 percent, which means one fourth of a mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Note: The total duration for the paper is 2 hours (120 minutes), with no separate time limit for each part.

Selection Process

The selection for Cane Supervisor is based only on the written main examination and document verification. There is no interview for this post. The process is as follows.

• Shortlisting for the main examination is done using the normalized score of PET-2025, and candidates with a zero or negative normalized score in PET-2025 are not shortlisted.
• Category-wise, 15 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for the main examination based on the normalized PET-2025 merit, along with all candidates tied at the last cut-off score.
• The main examination is a single written paper of 100 marks with negative marking of 25 percent for each wrong answer.
• Final selection is based purely on the marks scored in the main written examination, followed by document verification of the required certificates.

Salary & Pay Scale

The post of Cane Supervisor carries the pay of Level-4 under the 7th Pay Commission, with a pay scale of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month. Selected candidates will also receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other allowances as applicable under Uttar Pradesh Government rules. After standard deductions, the approximate in-hand salary works out to around Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 42,000 per month, though this varies by city and individual tax slab.

3. Log in using your PET-2025 registration number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
4. Your personal details from PET-2025, such as name, category, date of birth and address, will appear automatically.
5. Fill in the educational qualification section with your degree and CCC certificate details.
6. Review your photo and signature, which are carried forward from your PET-2025 application.
7. Select your post preference and answer the preferential qualification question if applicable.
8. Read the declaration carefully, tick the checkbox, enter the verification code, and pay the fee online.
9. Download and print your application form after the fee is successfully paid and adjusted.

Important Instructions

• Only candidates with a valid PET-2025 scorecard can apply. There is no alternate route to eligibility for this recruitment.
• The candidate must hold the required educational qualification and other eligibility conditions on or before the last date of application, July 28, 2026.
• Only one application is accepted per candidate. If more than one application is submitted, the last submitted form is treated as final.
• Corrections after final submission are allowed only for correspondence address, certain personal details, qualification details entered, and marital status, and only up to August 4, 2026.
• Benefits of reservation are given only to candidates who are original residents of Uttar Pradesh

• Women candidates must submit a caste certificate issued from the father’s side only.

Exam Centres

The main examination will be held at centres decided by the Commission. Candidates will be informed of the exam date, time and centre through their admit card, along with their roll number. No change in exam centre, date or time is allowed under any circumstances once allotted.
