Selection Process
- The selection is done through a single recruitment examination held in three stages. Candidates must qualify for each stage on its own. The process is as follows.
- Stage 1 Preliminary Examination is held first in pen and paper OMR mode with no negative marking and no minimum qualifying marks
- Based on Stage 1 marks in order of merit, seven times the number of candidates against the vacancies in each category for each post are shortlisted for the next stages
- Stage 2 Mains Examination and Stage 3 Computer Knowledge Test are held on the same day in a single shift, with a gap of 20 minutes
- The final merit list is prepared on the combined marks of Stage 2 and Stage 3, which together carry 200 marks
- Biometric details such as a photograph, thumb impression, and IRIS are captured at the centre, and the final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness
- There is no interview for any of the three posts
